Well, I love the countryside and this location ticked all the boxes!! Hearing the birds singing (although no hens clucking!) was lovely. I arrived late afternoon and was allocated the charmingly-furnished caravan - (I think I may have had a choice of pod, had I arrived earlier but no matter - the caravan was cute! ) Richard and Ian certainly have flair and panache! It was a delightful bijou. Anyway - enough of the pretentious French!! Please do not book this property if you expect "en suite" luxury - but that's part of its bohemian charm. I enjoyed the independent atmosphere - just help yourself to the kitchen facilities when needed. Eggs (however you like them - I loved the egg boiler) , toast, fruit, cereals and porridge, made a perfect breakfast. Please note - access is down a VERY unadopted road, ( a bit narrow) and adorned with potholes, but take your time, it's worth it, at the end of the leafy lane is Penhallow House!! The only (slight) criticism I would make is the signage - particularly at night . I understand the property is 24-hour access - a guest arrived at 01.30, was unable to contact the owners (understandable) and woke me in my caravan. I would suggest signage for the "Glamping" to be "ramped up" a bit with lights and arrows clearly showing where the pods are. All in all, a lovely 48 hours in the Cornish countryside.

The personal touches around the camp , hosts were amazing i left my watch that meant alot to me in the bed and only realised when travelling back home , host found the watch and offered to send recorded delivery and did not accept my offer to pay for postage (thank you so much) . Location is amazing we drove to different places everyday Newquay only 20 mins away.

Great location. Access road was narrow and room for one car only. Owner Rich, was great. Wonderful barn with toast, waffles, jams/butter, cereals, fresh eggs and breakfast items. There's no cooker - there's an egg boiler, a microwave, an airfryer and a toaster. Huge fridge-freezer. Chocolate, crisps, noodles and all sorts of other items to purchase too. Pod was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Great wifi! Hot water. Peaceful, quiet and in really beautiful surroundings. Bring a torch though! Staff on hand if you need someone. We used the site as a base. Would definitely come again.

Everything. The pod had everything you could want and it was very comfy. The surroundings were good and not cramped, pods well spaced out. The breakfast/24 hour kitchen was fantastic and much appreciated. Very friendly and I am sure I will go back.

We recently went on a glamping trip to Penhallow house and had an incredible experience. The setting was beautiful right in the heart of nature, but with all the comforts you’d want for a relaxing stay. It struck the perfect balance between being outdoors and feeling cozy. Every morning started with an exceptional breakfast, which really added a special touch to the whole experience. The location was peaceful and perfect for unwinding. A short taxi ride or drive could take you to the nearest beach, making it easy to enjoy both nature and the coast. The stay really helped us feel more connected to the outdoors. Ian, the host, was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. He made us feel welcome from the start and was always available if we needed anything. His hospitality really helped make our stay even more enjoyable☺️

Very quirky fun property, the owner was very friendly & helpful. We stayed in one of the glamping pods, it was very clean & comfortable. The owner has thought of everything, the breakfast room had everything you need, the honesty shop is a great idea & had cooking facilities you could buy or borrow, which was great as we did a bbq tea. The shower room was great clean tidy had all you need. The location was perfect for us between Newquay & Perranporth. We will definitely be booking to stay here again, incredible value.

I ended up staying for 4 nights instead of 3 and also booked again for later in the year. The first 3 nights I spent in Corfmullen. It’s a beautifully decked out caravan with a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage. Ian and Rich the hosts know how to make something so simple look so nice. It has its own outside seating area with fire pit tucked away in woodland at the bottom of the garden. Breakfast is included in the property in a converted barn unlimited tea and coffee, bread and cereals. If you want to bring more there’s plenty of appliances to cook on. An air fryer, 2 camping stoves, a microwave and toaster there’s even an ice machine! A big breakfast table and a seating area should you want to watch tv! The shower is clean and very good powerful and hot but also this year they are utilising an outside barn for outdoor showers! There is even a compost toilet for those brave enough! Last night I stayed in a pod Fistral with a cute metal 4 poster bed and a small fridge and a table with outdoor seating. Did I mention all the beds have electric blankets and they’re put on for you ready on cold nights! There is also free wi-fi which is very good. 15 minute walk down the lane there is the local pub called the pheasant good food and beer awaits! Thanks guys for a wonderful stay and see Walter in the year!

The pods were absolutely amazing, they were all warmed up ready for when we got here, the heared blanket was the best and was needed in this cold weather, we had to turn it down because it was so warm in here, the breakfast bar was lovely, plenty choose from plus I loved the honesty box and how you could get extra snacks and food for a small price, I also liked the story of st newlina and how you have a statue of her at the spring, The owners are very nice and welcoming, they make sure your ok and don't come around annoying you every 2 minutes, all in all it was a perfect home from home retreat for us, we will definitely be back in the summer when I visit Cornwall again

I had a king pod travelling alone. It was incredibly quaint and comfortable. The hosts Ian and Richard were very nice too.. I think more showers might be appropriate for the number of guests when full.. as I found it off putting getting in a shower full of the last person's suds, etc.. I'm too ocd for that and something I will definitely take into account should I go glamping again.. I also borrowed a kettle for my stay. The breakfast area was a couple of minutes' walk, and no doubt I would have spilt most of it.. so yes, I'd suggest kettles, too.. your left to do as you wish, and I enjoyed that.. would I go back? Absolutely I would, and I highly recommend it here.. thank you for a great break..

A gorgeous venue, a real hidden gem! The yurt we stayed in was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The beds were so soft and the electric blankets made it extremely cozy. Your own personal fire pits outside are an amazing addition, and you can purchase all you need at the shop on site. It may be a shared bathroom but it never felt like it. All other guests were extremely clean and respectful plus there are more loos about if occupied with a shower. The guys running Penhallow are 10/10 and would return for banter with Ian ANY DAY! The free roaming chickens and chick's are adorable and lovely to see. Really loved absolutely every second of our stay and already planning an even longer return as It's a lovely escape from every day life
